Qualifications:
- Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Licensure: Active New York State Nurse Practitioner License (Required).
- Certification: Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience: Must have prior working experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an Otolaryngology (ENT) setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ENT-specific patient assessments, diagnosis (e.g., hearing loss, sinus issues), treatment planning, and minor office procedures.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, detail-oriented, team player, and compassionate with patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions.
- Perform patient evaluations, diagnose ENT disorders, and develop treatment plans.
- Assist with or perform minor office-based ENT procedures.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as audiograms and imaging.
- Collaborate with ENT physicians and other specialists within the practice.
- Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.
