Position Overview:
Impact Recruiting Solutions is looking for a full-time PET/NUC Med Technologist (Float) to join an Imaging Office at a Radiology Group located in Neptune, NJ, and will also cover shifts in offices located in Tinton Falls and Freehold, NJ. In this role, you will perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures across multiple locations, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology program.
  • Licensure: NJDEP State License and CPR Certification required; ARRT(N) or NMTCB(N) Certification required; ARRT(CT) or NMTCB/CT for Fusion Modality required.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of experience is required.
  • Technical requirements: May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using PET and CT scanners to create images of the body's internal functions and structures.
  • Prepare and administer radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients according to established protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout all procedures.
  • Operate imaging equipment and maintain equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and radiation safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Adhere to all department and facility safety guidelines.
  • Float between three office locations (Neptune, Tinton Falls, and Freehold) as scheduled based on daily coverage needs.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and office staff to ensure efficient workflow and accurate imaging results.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and radioisotope logs.
