Position Overview:
Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a skilled, compassionate Physiatrist to fill an opening at a reputable multi-specialty practice in Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to make a significant impact on patients' quality of life in a collaborative outpatient setting.

  • Work Schedule:
    • This is a Full-time, Part-time, or Per-Diem position.
    • 5 days (1 weekend per month, no compensation)

Qualifications:
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted Florida Medical State License.
  • Certification: Board Certified.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in performing and interpreting relevant diagnostic procedures. Experience with EMR systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Ability to work effectively within a multi-specialty team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, or other conditions causing pain and functional impairment.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive, non-surgical treatment plans, which may include physical therapy, medication management, and therapeutic injections.
  • Perform and interpret electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS) as needed to aid in diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to coordinate patient care and maximize functional outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing pain and improving mobility.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient's electronic medical record.
