We are seeking a dedicated Rheumatologist to join a healthcare team at a multi-specialty practice in Bronx, NY. This role involves providing specialized rheumatic and musculoskeletal disease care to patients in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Active New York State Medical License.
  • Experience: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology. Experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and managing rheumatic and autoimmune conditions.
  • Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, empathy, and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive rheumatology consultation, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Manage chronic rheumatic conditions for a geriatric/long-term care population.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
  • Adhere to best practices and clinical guidelines in rheumatology.
